Andevine Wines
This is one of those wineries that sum up the Hunter Valley’s timeless charm. If you are looking for wines made with passion and in styles that are truly reflective of the Hunter region – then this is it! Shiraz, Pinot Shiraz, Semillon, Chardonnay and a Rare Liqueur Verdelho are the main story here as is owner – winemaker Andrew Leembruggen’s 21 years of experience working at some of the most established wineries in the region. These are wines that are elegant and sufficiently affordable to be enjoyed everyday but yet sophisticated enough to be taken out to impress.
Andrew Leembruggen has been a Hunter Valley boy since his cadetship at Mount Pleasant in 1998, becoming senior winemaker in 2002; he led winemaking operations for Drayton’s Family Wines from ’10 to ’12 before his departure to create Andevine Wines. Andrew has also made wine in the Rhone Valley, Bordeaux, Napa Valley and Coonawarra. There are three ranges of wines: Vineyard Reserve for 100% Hunter Valley (available exclusively from the cellar door); Hunter Valley varietals (available exclusively through Naked Wines); and Regional Collection wines, sourced from regions across NSW.
