Situated above the vines of St Clements Estate, Lillino’s Bar and Trattoria was opened on June 25, 2011.
The site was originally known as ‘St Clements of Red Hill’ & was purchased by Luigi in 2001 with the first vines planted in 2002. The first vintage of Semillion, Shiraz & Merlot was in 2005. The range now includes Verdelho, Grenache & the Italian varietials of Pinot Grigio, Nebbiolo & Barbera. All wines are proudly estate grown.
The cellar door opened 1st December 2010 & the restaurant followed a little over 6 months later.
It is our aim to introduce to the Hunter the true flavours of Sardinia and Italy using as much local produce as possible, while also importing the finest ingredients from Italy, like Prosciutto di Parma, mozzarella, parmesan and our pizza flour directly from Napoli.
